WE CAN HARDLY WAIT FOR:
"I Love Kailua" Town Party
April 26, 2015
Sponsored by Lani-Kailua Outdoor Circle
and supported by Alexander and Baldwin
Dozens of Kailua restaurants and eateries are preparing for “A Taste of Kailua--one of the features of the 23nd annual “I Love Kailua” Town Party, taking place on Kailua Road from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., Sunday, April 26. Town Party organizers encourage Kailua residents to leave their cars at home and walk or bicycle to the pedestrian-friendly event – and it’s also a great way to work up an appetite before hitting the food booths!
While the food is always a highlight of this annual gathering, the Town Party is also an opportunity for shopping, entertainment and family fun. Over 50 Windward artists and hand crafters will have their work on sale; there will be plants and orchid displays and sales; Kama`aina Kids will sponsor a keiki fun zone with rides and activities; Castle Medical Center will have a mini health fair with free screenings; and a variety of community groups will have information to share.
The festivities will be opened by Michael W. Perry, sweet sounds of Kailua's Puamana, and Pattye's Hula Studio. Followed by ongoing live entertainment, including Halau Mohala Ilima, Hooligan's Harp and Sounds of Aloha Chorus. The Marine Forces Pacific Band will be entertaining from 3 to 4.
Our wonderful restaurants for 2015 are:

There will be lots to see and do, including shoping at our plant booths or buying a collectable souvenir button or t-shirt featuring beautiful honu designed by a local Kailua artist Beth Anderson.
The event is funded by the sale of commemorative t-shirts and buttons. Buttons can be purchased for $4 at the event or in advance at many locations around Kailua including Hardware Hawaii and First Hawaiian Bank.
WHY BUY A BUTTON?
Your button purchase helps raise funds for projects such as landscaping and maintenance of the public areas of Pohakapu, Kailua Triangle, Pali Palms Triangle, Kalapawai Triangle, and Alala (Lanikai) Point. So wear your button proudly in support of Lani-Kailua Outdoor Circle and the "I Love Kailua" Town Party. See the "Button Discounts" page for discounts at Kailua businesses and restaurants for people wearing this year's button.
